An internal adjustable Low Pass Filter makes connection to other loudspeakers simple and 0° / 180° polarity switching means that phasing issues are no longer a problem.
Advanced Electronics
The rear panel of the DVP-AX Subwoofers holds many useful features. The heatsinks for the Class D amplifier she that there are no fans inside. All heat dissipation is handed by convection cooling. The balanced Hi Pass output makes it simple to connect to a full range model such as the DVP-AX12 or DVP-AX15. To deliver maximum SPL without phase cancellation, a handy polarity switch also ensures that your bass is in phase. In addition, an adjustable Low Pass Filter lets you tune your bass to sit well with the rest of the rig.
Tough MDF construction
The cabinet is constructed of MDF. This solid, but still lightweight, material gives EVO-X rigidity and reduces any mechanical distortion which a lesser material may introduce. The MDF material also contributes to the overall tone of EVO-X. It delivers a warmth and roundness to the sound, making EVO-X a pleasure to listen to, even at higher volumes.
